Gitti came from Lithuania to England, and as a result has been affected by exposure to a large variety of cultures and languages. She has been working to reflect and emphasize the small nuances of people’s everyday lives and diverse cultures. Adapting to a new life, made her explore and experiment with different styles of painting, and different media.
